Windows Media Player should already be on your computer.  A browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer that supports Windows Media Player is also required.  Windows Media Player is used on many sites in addition to this one.  If you do not have Windows Media Player or you would like to update to a later version, click Windows Media Player.  Windows Media Player 10 Series for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Windows XP operating system has a total file size of 11.638 MB and downloading it over a 56.6 K modem takes about 28 minutes.  Versions of the Windows Media Player for other operating systems and browsers are available at Windows Media Player.

Create CD playable in any CD player from what you are listening to:

1.  This procedure was developed on a computer using the Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating system.  For other operating systems, the steps may be different.  Also, it is assumed you have the latest Windows Media Player, version 10 (Windows Media Player version 10 works on operating systems older than XP).  To see which version of Windows Media Player you have, click the “start” button at the lower left of the screen, put the cursor on “All Programs”, and then click “Windows Media Player”.  In Windows Media Player, click “Help” and on the “Help” menu click “About Windows Media Player”.  If the version is before 10, Windows Media Player version 10 is free from Microsoft at http://www.windowsmedia.com/download.

2.  Close the Windows Media Player if it is open.

3.  Connect to the internet, go to http://www.communitybaptistharvestal.com/hear.html and click the sermon you want to make a CD of.

4.  Windows Media Player starts playing the sermon you clicked.  Click “File” at the top left of Windows Media Player and click “Save As …” on the “File” menu. In the “Save As” window, select a folder to save the sermon in (such as the “My Documents” folder) and click the “Save” button.  A “Windows Media Download” window appears displaying the progress of saving the sermon file to your folder.

5.  When the sermon file is saved, disconnect from the internet, close Windows Media Player and all other windows.

6.  Right click the “start” button at the lower left of the screen.  Click “Explore” on the menu that comes up.

7.  In the Explore window, click the folder you saved the sermon file in.  Double click the sermon file.  The Windows Media Player starts playing the sermon.  In Windows Media Player, click the “Library” tab.  The sermon playing will be highlighted.  Put the cursor on the sermon title and right click.  On the menu that comes up, put the cursor on “Add to”.  On the “Add to” menu, click “Burn List”.

8.  Click the “Burn” tab.  The sermon title should be displayed.  Insert a blank CD (marked CD-R on the package) into the drive.  Click “Start Burn”.  Creating the CD will take about half an hour.  Note: disks labeled on the package CD-R will play in any CD player, but disks labeled on the package CD-RW will only play in a computer.
